Blender is another great free program that allows you to create something on the computer. This is for computer images, or animations. You can create all sorts of great stuff, and very pretty images. I made a youtube channel for some animations I might make, I only spent about three hours on them, and I am very new, so I am not that good. To check them out, go to youtube.com/animatedcreated. If you look at the home page, that is an image I made with Blender. There are many tutorials that will help you to get started, and many good ones will be on their website, Blender.org. It is difficult to get started, so it would be best to learn from someone else. To learn more about this, go to http://www.blender.org.
Just BASIC
If you are looking to get in to programming, then I would recommend starting out in Scratch. However, once you have pretty much mastered scratch, and want to move on to something more complex that really gets you started in on some actual programming with text and commands, a good program to go to is Just BASIC. This is freeware that you can download from online. This software allows you to create much more complex programs and games than Scratch allows you. This is a more complex language with actual text input and more. This is kind of like an easy version of more complex languages such as C#, C++ or Java.
Just BASIC is based on text commands that you can easily type to create programs. Like most programming languages, this has a HelloWorld tutorial that instructs you on a basic application that prints an output of HelloWorld. There is also an easy help guide that gives easy code commands, shows how to use them and more. This software does not require a powerful computer, and it is a very fast program. It requires very little CPU power, and the code is very basic and easy. You can create a few games, and some other programs with text input, buttons and a whole lot more. The language also comes with some demonstration programs that have 2D games and some other applications. If you want to get a feel for programming, this is a good starter program that introduces and teaches you great key concepts and other important parts of programming. Download the setup file here, or go to their website here. Also check out the explanation video below!

Free Antivirus - AVG ANtivirus 2012 Free Version
May 12, 2012
Recently I have begun using a free antivirus program called AVG Free Antivirisu 2012. When I looked for free antivirus for my laptop, I was very hesitant knowing that many companies that claimed to offer free software such as antivirus could very well be viruses themselves. When I found AVG, I noticed that it also had an upgradeable product and did some research on other websites, one of them being Cnet, and found it to be a reliable program. I downloaded it, and it started me with a free installer which required a download of the actual software later on. In the process, it asked me for a purchase key, which I did not have. When it installed, I actually found it to be a free trial for thirty days. So I tried it out for a bit, and found it to be useful, and my computer continued to function normally, and so I kept it on my computer. I later did some more research to find an antivirus program that was actually free forever, not just a trial. I found another one and when I was installing it on my computer, I made the decision to delete the AVG Antivirus because I did not want two Antivirus programs running on my computer at once because of how slow the computer would be. I went to delete AVG and opened the uninstaller. It gave me several options such as repair, downgrade, or uninstall. I finally discovered that the downgrade option gave you the ability to, as it says, downgrade your software to the free version, not the trial. I quickly did this, and have kept the software. It works well, and does a fairly good job of running at a good speed and keeping my computer safe.
You may be wondering, why get a full-paid version of an antivirus software when you can just get free ones? The answer is simple: Even though it is free to use, it is still a kind of trial. It does not provide the full protection that a paid version of the software would. It probably will not work as fast, or run as well in general. I do not connect to the internet often on my laptop, so it is not really an issue for me. Overall, I found it to be a great freeware software that works very well. If you do not have an antivirus software on your computer and do not want to invest in full protection, this would be a good starting software for you. I would recommend getting a paid version of an antivirus program if you wish to be completely protected from malicious viruses and whatnot. However, AVG Antivirus 2012 is ranked number one free antivirus. This is the best antivirus if you want to get a free antivirus that protects your computer. You can download it on their website here: http://free.avg.com/us-en/free-antivirus-download. Click on the free version.

Scratch
Scratch is a basic programming language that allows you to easily create a basic program involving 2D images. It is a great starter program, that shows you the concept of programming. You could create a basic game very easily with its great interface. It is extremely easy with no special commands you need to learn, it is just a drag and drop system. It takes very little time to get started, and has a great introduction to programming. If you are looking to get in to some software development or just want to give programming a try, I would recommend this. It is very easy, and shows you some cause and effect basics as well as certain concepts that are vital in creating programs. It does not require a very powerful computer, and runs very well on my computer with a very low-speed processor. It takes barely anything to get started, is very easy to use, and is just really a lot of fun to play around with! You won’t be able to great an advanced game, you are limited to 2D and not too many abilities, but you can create quite a lot! This program is available for free download at http://www.scratch.mit.edu/.
