Starting in Java
If you are interested in Java, you first need to have the runtime installed on your computer. This you probably already have installed, it is very common piece of software to have. If you don't have it or have an old version, just go to http://www.java.com to download the most recent edition.
There are many different code editors for making Java programs, and the one I have been using and recommend is Eclipse Indigo. This is a great code editor that runs very well, makes programming easier with showing you solutions, and is well designed and intuitive. This is a great editor I would definitely recommend checking out if you are interested. In the link below, download the first code editor in the list. Select your OS and bit type, download, extract and start coding!
